MORG - Music ORGanizer
MORG is a web based application for browsing and playing your music collection in a convienent and joyful way.
Requirements
- UNIX operating system on server
- Apache webserver
- PHP 4.1.0 or newer with dba/db4 and iconv support
Features
- Nice read-only access to audio collection - great during parties
- Multiple images/covers for artist/albums - slide show or manual change
- Tags/metadata in mouseover hints
- Audio files spread in multiple directories are combined in MORG
- Supports a wide variety of audio formats thru the getID3() library
- Artist/album/title/etc assumed from filenames - tags are optional if your filenames are properly formatted
- Statistics
- Format/Encoder report
- Metadata search
- Advanced Compare With Friends feature - based on MD5sum of audiofiles data part - files can be retagged/renamed and still be recognised
- Convienent link to artist page on All Music Guide
- Convienent link to Google Image Search - only large/very large images.
